Work Site Wellness
Wellness is a continuous process of self enhancement which depends on balancing the many aspects, or dimensions, of a person’s life. An individual achieves wellness by making informed choices about things that affect their wellbeing. It is an active process of becoming aware of, and making choices toward, a more successful existence.

Good Work!
The Good Work! Resource Kit was developed to help worksites interested in developing low-cost ways to support employee health and productivity. By providing successful techniques actually used by Maine businesses. Hard copies of the Good Work! Kit are still available. To order copies contact Patricia Buck-Welton at patriciab@mcd.org
The purpose of this Drug-Free Workplace Kit is to provide public and private workplaces, from small to large and from local to global, with credible, authoritative, evidence-based information, resources, and tools for producing and maintaining drug-free workplace policies and programs.
The Kit was assembled by the Division of Workplace Programs (DWP), in the Center for Substance Abuse Prevention, Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (often simply SAMHSA elsewhere in the Kit), U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

HMP is a collaborative effort among 28 local coalitions, the Maine DHHS (Maine CDC and Office of Substance Abuse) and DOE, supported primarily by the Funds for Healthy Maine with federal grants from the US CDC, SAMHSA, and DOE.
