Healthy Waldo County follows a yearly workplan, which is developed from a master plan distributed to all 28 Healthy Maine Partnerships. The work plan is divided into 6 major topics; tobacco, substance abuse, nutrition, physical activity/sun exposure, chronic disease - early identification & treatment and chronic disease - access to self-management supports. The workplan collaborates with worksites, primary care practices, healthcare services, childcare & daycare facilities, municipalities, housing management, colleges & universities, retailers, law enforcement, community organizations, schools, and food pantries. Under each major topic are specific objectives, and strategies to reach chosen objectives.

Healthy Waldo County works with our Advisory Board and community members to select the most appropriate objectives for our Healthy Maine Partnership.
